Feature

Remote

Kick off a task and walk away. Alias keeps working in the background and syncs the result back to you on any device you sign in from.

Work continues without you

Long jobs keep running after you close the tab, so a heavy task is not tied to you sitting and watching it.

Pick it up anywhere

Start on a laptop and check the result on your phone. Your workspace follows the account, not the device.

You get told when it lands

Finished work shows up in your workspace with the result and the trail of how it got there.

How it works

  1. 01

    Start the job

Give Alias the task and confirm the plan it proposes.

  2. 02

    Close the laptop

The run keeps going on our side rather than in your browser tab.

  3. 03

    Come back to the result

Open Alias on any device and the finished work is waiting.

Go through this folder of contracts and flag anything with an automatic renewal clause.

Draft first versions of all six of these landing pages and tell me when they are done.

Questions

Does the task stop if I close the browser?
No. Remote runs continue on our infrastructure. Closing the tab or losing your connection does not cancel the work.
How do I know when it is finished?
The run appears in your workspace with its status, and the finished result is attached to it along with the steps that produced it.
Can I stop a run early?
Yes. You can cancel a run at any point and you are only charged for the work that had already been done when you stopped it.
