1. Who we are
Alias is a product of Digital Networks AI LLC, a company registered in the United States at [REGISTERED ADDRESS].
Alias gives you one place to work with many AI models. It takes a task, decides which model or combination of models is best suited to it, and returns the result. We do not build the underlying models.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 to use Alias.
- Give accurate account information and keep it current.
- Your credentials are yours. Do not share them, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has them.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- If your employer provides your account, they may administer it and may be able to see its contents.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use Alias to:
- break the law, or help anyone else to;
- generate material that sexually exploits or endangers children, or that is designed to harass, defame or threaten a specific person;
- build weapons, malware, or tools whose purpose is to cause serious harm;
- impersonate a person or organisation, or present model output as human-written where that would mislead someone to their detriment;
- infringe intellectual property or misappropriate trade secrets;
- circumvent rate limits, quotas or access controls, or probe, scan or stress-test our systems without written permission;
- scrape or bulk-extract from Alias, or reverse-engineer it, except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted;
- use outputs to train a competing model, or to build a competing service;
- resell access to Alias without a written agreement with us.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where the breach is not serious and not deliberate, we will normally warn you first.
4. Inputs, outputs and ownership
You keep all rights in your inputs. You grant us only the licence we need to run the service for you: to store your inputs, to transmit them to the model provider handling your request, and to return the output to you.
As between you and us, we assign to you whatever rights we have in the outputs of your requests. You are responsible for what you do with them.
Two honest caveats. First, outputs can be wrong, out of date, or confidently fictitious, and Alias routing across several models does not change that, check anything you intend to rely on, particularly anything legal, medical or financial. Second, outputs are not necessarily unique: another user asking a similar question may receive a similar answer, and we cannot promise otherwise.
We do not use your inputs or outputs to train models. See the Privacy Policy for what travels to a model provider and what does not.
5. Feedback
If you send us suggestions about Alias, we may use them without restriction, obligation or payment. This covers feedback about the product only, not your inputs or outputs.
6. Plans, fees and cancellation
- Alias offers a Free plan and paid plans. Current prices are on the Pricing page.
- Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- Cancel at any time in Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then.
- Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or where we have clearly failed to provide what you paid for.
- Plans carry usage allowances. If you exhaust one, Alias will tell you and may reduce throughput or pause routing until the allowance resets or you upgrade.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice before a price increase takes effect on your plan.
- If you subscribed through an app store, that store's billing and refund terms apply to the payment.
7. Model providers and third-party services
Alias depends on third-party model providers, and on any sources you connect. Their availability, their output and their own terms are outside our control.
This matters in one specific way worth stating plainly: if a provider has an outage, changes a model, or restricts access, Alias will route around it where it can and degrade where it cannot. That is the service working as designed, not a breach of these terms.
Anything you connect, a document store, a repository, a calendar, is governed by your agreement with that provider. We are not responsible for it.
8. Content and moderation
We may review content where we have reason to think it breaks these terms or the law, and we may remove it or restrict access to it. We are not obliged to monitor everything, and we do not.
To report something, write to legal@digitalnetworks.ai with enough detail to find it.
9. Software
Alias includes desktop and mobile software. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it with the service. It may update itself. Where a component is open source, that component's own licence governs it and prevails over these terms to the extent of any conflict.
10. Our rights
We and our licensors own Alias, the software, the interface, the name, the marks and everything else that is not your content. You get the right to use it under these terms, and nothing more is implied. Do not use our name or marks without written permission.
11. Disclaimers, liability and indemnity
Alias is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Alias will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output will be accurate.
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the six months before the claim arose, and one hundred US dollars.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your use of Alias in breach of these terms or the law, or from your content.
12. Suspension, termination and changes
You may close your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if your account has been inactive for more than 24 months, with notice in the last case.
We may change Alias, and may change these terms. If a change is material we will give you reasonable notice before it takes effect. If you do not accept it, stop using Alias and close your account; continuing to use it after the change takes effect means you accept it.
On termination your right to use Alias ends. We delete your content as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections 4, 5, 10, 11 and 13 survive.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
The state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction, and both parties submit to it. If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings locally, or the protection of mandatory local consumer law, that right is not affected by this section.
Before filing anything, please write to legal@digitalnetworks.ai. Most disputes are a misunderstanding, and we would rather resolve it than litigate it.
14. General
- These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about Alias.
- If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest stands.
- Not enforcing a right once does not waive it.
- You may not assign these terms without our consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or to an acquirer of the business.
- You must comply with export control and sanctions law, and you confirm you are not located in a jurisdiction subject to a comprehensive embargo.
- Nothing here creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship.
