Import

Bring what you already have. Import chats, documents and repositories so Alias starts from your context instead of from nothing.

Start with your history

Bring conversations across from another assistant so you are not rebuilding context from scratch.

Documents become searchable

Imported material is indexed for retrieval, so answers can cite your own sources directly.

Repositories too

Import a codebase and browse it, ask about it, and have agents work against it.

How it works

  1. 01

    Pick a source

An export file, a connected app, or a code repository.

  2. 02

    Import and index

Alias ingests it and makes it retrievable inside your workspace.

  3. 03

    Ask against it

Your own material now grounds the answers you get.

Try asking

I have an export from another assistant. How do I bring that history in?

Import this repository and give me a tour of how the code is organised.

What did I already decide about this topic in my earlier conversations?

Questions

What can I import?
Chat exports, documents, and code repositories. Connected sources such as cloud drives sync continuously rather than importing once.
Does importing change what others can see?
No. Imported material lands in your workspace under your account's permissions and is not visible to other tenants.
Can I delete what I imported?
Yes. Imported material can be removed from your workspace, and removing a source also removes it from retrieval.
